Assisted in platform and rig design and modifications. Responsible for most pore pressure prediction and plotting. Numerous special projects including hydraulics and hole cleaning analysis. Performed instructional seminars. Assisted all MOC areas at times.

Manager – Completion Fluids Eastern Region:

Extensive work with corrosion, formation damage, mineral oils, polymers and bromides to 21.0 ppg, 24,500' and 400 F. Responsible for profit center management, technical sales & research coordination.

1982-1985 Region Manager – Lafayette, LA: Accountable to Vice President of Business and Technical Development. Responsible for profit center management and technical sales, development and service of completion, workover and drilling fluids in Southwest Louisiana, North Louisiana, East Texas, Arkansas, and offshore Southwest Louisiana and Northeast United States. Includes plant design and M & R, coating, fluid compatibilities, hydraulics, solid/liquid separation, corrosion, etc.

1980-1982 Completion Workover Fluid Technical Sales Representative – Lafayette, LA: Responsibilities included technical sales and service programming, training, trouble-shooting, and special research of fluid, corrosion and filtering studies.

1976-1980 Region Engineer I and II – New Orleans, LA: Responsibilities included pressure plotting and mud programming, training, trouble-shooting, special projects (hydraulics, material analysis, corrosion, solids control, etc.). Area of responsibility: Tuscaloosa Trend and all land and offshore areas east of the Atchafalaya River and north including East Coast. Extensive experience in deep, hot, high pressure drilling in 10-40% sour gas areas and deep water drilling. Several internally published articles.

1975-1976 Regional Staff Engineer – Lafayette, LA: Duties included pressure plotting and mud programming, training, solids control, trouble-shooting, and special technical projects coordinator. Responsible for North and Southwest Louisiana and offshore areas.

1974-1975 Sales Engineer I and II (ADT Engineer) – Lake Charles, LA

Worked as mud engineer and trouble-shooter. Worked as Applied Drilling Technology engineer to predict formation pore pressures while drilling.
