Personal Profile

An experienced and versatile English teacher with B.A.Hons.Russian degree, TEFL Certificate and experience in Turkey, Italy, Oxford, Egypt and China. I have taught all levels/categories of student, including complete beginners, professionals, business students, advanced levels ; all ages from pre-school children to retired adults. Currently looking for a fresh challenge and to work abroad in an English teaching role.

Employment History

Present Time – Supply teaching for Birmingham College and private English tuition to primary–age children ( SATS, Eleven – Plus exam preparation, G.C.S.E. Literature ) . 2017 –2018 - IELTS and General English classes to Arab students at South and City College, Birmingham.

2017 - ESOL Teacher at City College, Birmingham. Indian, Bangladeshi and Afghan students. Level One City and Guilds.

2015 – 16 -Teaching English to children, Key Stages 3 and 4 ( SATS and G.C.S.E. preparation).

2014/15 - Teaching English to Russian students for Berlitz School ; Summer school in China. 2012 – 13 English Teacher at Amideast, Alexandria, Egypt: General English to adults and children. Organised extra-curricular activities and taught at children’s summer camp. 2011 - English Teacher : ESOL - Entry, Pre - Entry, Entry 3 English taught. Arab, Pakistani and Afghan students .
