2010 - Present: Operational Fire Officer for North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.
NATO Operational Fire Officer at the ISAF Joint HQ and Kabul International Airport working closely with Governmental agencies, including the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan’s (GIRoA) Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation.
I have been Firefighter in Kabul International Airport since 2004, I trained as a firefighter apprentice in Kabul Afghanistan International Airport for ISAF-NATO. During this period I was trained as a Firefighter by different nations that were involved in Afghanistan Humanitarian Missions: Germany, Danish, Iceland’s, Portuguese, Swedish, Norway, and USA, UK
I’m now Watch Manager.
During my career I gained 12 Letters of Appreciation from a number of different ISAF Commanders in Kabul International Airport in recognition of my work, including:
A rescue performance in an AN/12 (Antonov 12) Crash;
An AN/32 Lending Gear fire;
A Boeing 737 landing gear on fire
C130 landing gear on fire
C 160 landing gear on fire
C 27 landing gear on fire
