Provide strategic leadership and support in the planning and implementation of the HSE strategy for projects while conducting regular audits to assess the overall safety and sustainability of the business and its day to day practices. This included tanks, IOT, pipelines, produced water Phase I and II and various other projects in feed status. The production reached 465,000 barrels per day (bpd) after the completion of new crude processing facilities and oil storage tanks. Investigate work-site incidents, analyse root causes, and develop solutions to prevent reoccurrence. Champion the provision of a healthy and safe working environment and lead the execution of safety routines to facilitate the mitigation of business risks. Collaborate with the organisation’s business leaders to foster the execution of solutions to common risk violations and immensely contribute to the HSE Management System including the Project HSE plan execution to ensure compliance with the system. Conduct internal and second party audits on projects and oversee the execution of corrective preventative action for any identified compliance violations.

Analyse employee performance to identify training needs to ensure the attainment of project requirements and manage the preparation including the submission of monthly project reports. Champion the execution of the BBSO (IO) Cards and perform JSA’s including risk assessments on various activities. Spearhead the allocation of HSE Officers throughout the site to effectively manage all construction areas and oversaw the maintenance of accident and incident records for all onsite accidents. Actively participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and implement optimised solutions while ensuring that emergency response preparedness plans are in place. Contribute to the execution of the HSE strategy for projects and successfully construct a safety-oriented company culture that emphasises quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.

KENTZ INTERNATIONAL (TSS)

Managed and supported the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Health and Safety elements of the company’s HSE Management System and ensured that the goals and requirements of the Company’s HSE Policy and associated standards are achieved.
