Battalion Operations Officer –Fort Benning, GA April 2020 – Present
Served as the Operations Officer responsible for managing day to day operations changes and additions from Brigade for a 1300-person Battalion. Responsibilities include logistical resourcing, personnel management, data processing, information analysis, information flow, and systems development. Ability to direct, lead, and develop systems for efficient and effective execution of projects at a Battalion level.
Served as the Battalion Operations Officer for 4 months during the COVID pandemic; responsible for all operations in the Battalion.
Served as the Battalion Resourcing and Training Technician during the COVID pandemic working all training changes for the 6 Company Battalion to include; transportation, land, ammo, chow, and training aids.
Managed short deadlines and afforded flexibility with last minute schedule changes.
Help guide and mentor 6 Company Executive Officers in property management, system development and daily operations that a Company Executive Officer should be concerned about to ensure the overall success of the Companies and Battalion
Company Executive Officer – Fort Benning, GA March 2019 – March 2020
Directed daily operations for a One Station Unit Training Infantry Company consisting of a team of 16 Drill Sergeants responsible for training over 900 personnel a year, and organizational equipment valued at over $5 million. Managed mobilization readiness, information and physical security, inventory management, capacity planning and utilization, distribution, customer relations, administrative support and force protection services. Quoted as being in the top 10% of all First Lieutenants my Battalion Commander has worked with in his 17 years of service.
Top performing (#1 of 6) Executive Officer in the Battalion selected by the Battalion Commander to move to another Company to help level out the playing field. Improved the efficiency and overall training capabilities by implementing communication, resourcing, and planning systems in both companies.
Developed and implemented a system for property management at the Company and Battalion-levels, streamlining operations and increasing equipment management efficacy at those levels.
Second in Command for a Company of 250 subordinates and assuming Command for multiple brief periods of time while the commander was away during which was able to keep normal operations and procedures going for both jobs resulting in no loss or degradation in training.
Helped train and mentor 6 Company Platoon Leaders and 7 specialty shop personnel in deployment requirements, property maintenance and resourcing procedures. Two Company Platoon Leaders went on to become successful Executive Officers in other Companies.

Battalion Assistant Operations Officer – Republic of Korea / Fort Stewart, GA June 2018 – February 2019
Served as the Assistant Operations Officer responsible for managing day to day operations changes and additions from brigade for an 800-person Battalion. Responsibilities include logistical resourcing, personnel management, data processing, information analysis, information flow, and systems development. Ability to direct, lead, and develop systems for efficient and effective execution of projects at a Battalion level. Rated in the Top 10% of 26 First Lieutenants in the Battalion and #2 of 8 Lieutenants working in the BN Operations office.
Briefed branch level leadership on a daily basis that included Battalion Commander, Battalion Executive Officer, and Battalion Operations Officer. Successfully communicated operational requirements, personnel readiness, and system processes to generate options and influence decisions.
Managed short deadlines and afforded flexibility with last minute schedule changes.
Managed tasking distribution for the entire Battalion and ensued that the Companies were provided with the most accurate and up to date information on tasking’s and any last minute changes
Implemented systems and tracked the Battalions redeployment process back to Fort Stewart, GA, consisting of 800 personnel, 32 Bradly Fighting Vehicles, 16 M1A1 Tanks and countless support vehicles.
S3 property holder valued over $30 million while in the Republic of Korea conducted the property book layout for the net unit with zero lost items.
Platoon Leader – Fort Stewart, GA/ Republic of Korea July 2017 – June 2018
Managed a 34-person team, including first line supervisors and subject matter experts, and supervised equipment and facilities valued at over $20 million while serving as a Platoon Leader stationed at Fort Stewart. Executed independent joint operations focused on regional stability, humanitarian aid, and international relations support at the district-level. Planned, supervised, and directed maintenance and personnel readiness required to maintain operations in a combat theater. Rated in the top 5 of 18 Platoon Leaders.
Deployed to the Republic of South Korea for nine months in support of a real-world security mission, conducted multiple joint training exercises with Korean forces refining and implementing new operating procedures and techniques for assigned mission set passed on to following units
Successfully trained and employed a 30-man Mechanized Infantry Platoon in complex tactical scenarios including being able to operate and fight as a light infantry/air assault Platoon at a moment’s notice.
Simultaneously led two Bradley sections and two dismount Infantry Squads of highly-trained Infantrymen in multiple tactical scenarios in Korea and the National Training Center; required to create and execute plans with limited logistical support, short timelines, and multiple enabling forces and equipment. Responsible for the physical fitness, weapons proficiency, and tactical proficiency of the 30-man Platoon; oversaw programs that improved physical fitness by 15%. Personally responsible for over $20 million of equipment; successfully maintained accountability and maintenance records.
