Designation: Engineer – Supplier Quality

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES

Responsible for Incoming inspection of Electrical & Electronics (SMT & FATP) and mechanical

(injection moulding & Stamping) commodities.

Weekly basis LRR Status shared to supplier and take actions against the Top 3 Defects which is drop due to yield loss.

Addressing the Line Issue with immediate containment action to improve the production Yield.

Monitoring and providing the feedback to management regarding rejection and corrective action.

Prepare the Supplier rating report every quarter (consider the Incoming lot rejection rate, Line rejection

PPM, CAPA action & MRB aging days) and share the quality rating to corporate quality team.

Follow up daily IQA pending and rejected parts and decision making through MRB review with CFT team.

Scrap Reduction work with internal team, verify production scrap and Same has claimed into supplier account. Claim Status started

Arranging 3rd party cost claim if supplier delay to segregate. Same cost has debit from the supplier by using internal manpower.

Handling more than 50+ different suppliers. Getting the disposal plan from suppliers for all original rejection (RMA or Vendor scrap).

Monitoring the Supplier PPAP document (Process flow diagram, PFMEA, Control plan, MSA, SPC, packing Standard, inspection agreement, Reliability reports & Ext...)

Verifying the CAPA(8D) Report from the supplier submitted the RCA for defective parts and Monitoring the effectiveness of the Corrective Actions taken

Acheivements:

IQA Automation tools created for Data Collection of Supplier wise trend instead of Manual Entries.

Direct to Stock Material (DTS) implemented 60% of the material

Preparing 8D report for any customer end problems: Initiating, tracking, and assisting for corrective/preventive action’s and non-conformance reports including the performance of root cause analysis investigations.
