SUMMARY OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

General Duties and responsibilities:

Performing and participate in the preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance activities of the plant rotating equipment in the assigned areas.

Attend Toolbox meetings to establish scope of work activities such as safety requirements permits to work, special tools and materials.

Adhere with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures.

Troubleshoot, identify and isolate faulty components of plant rotating equipment at the assigned location.

Identify spare parts required for maintenance work, from manufacturers’ drawings and spare parts lists.

Perform shutdown maintenance repair and overhaul on the rotating equipment.

Participation in condition monitoring checks on machinery, and notifies any malfunctions or defects to the immediate supervisor.

Ensure equipment reliability and availability, considering the aging plant, structures and equipment.

Planning major and minor shutdown jobs – manpower, spares, time

Overhauling and reconditioning of spare equipments and components

Alignment of Rotary machines using Laser & dial gauge with graphical solution ROTATING EQUIPMENTS

Overhauled all type of equipment both Dynamic & Positive displacement pumps such as Centrifugal (single - Multistage), Plunger-Piston pumps, Gear pumps, Screw pumps, Diaphragm pumps.

The works covered with obtaining complete check list of the dismantled equipment & keep record.

Inspect & replace all the Moving parts (like impeller, piston-plunger, bearing and wear rings)

& Stationary parts (like bearing housing, packing, bushings, and latent ring).

Check and maintain all the clearance like front, back clearances, wear ring clearances, bearing clearances.

Mfrs : Sulzer,Weir Gabbioneta, flowserve, Kirlosker CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSORS:

The work covers with Overhauling, rotor renewal, Radial and Thrust bearing renewal, labyrinth set replacement, rotor axial & radial centering, Seal renewal and routine checkup of centrifugal compressors. Trouble shooting Worked in both horizontal split and vertical split type compressors. Removal of floating seal and checking and assembling can be done. Mfrs: Sulzer, Ingersoll-Rand.

RECIPROCATING COMPRESSORS:

Done Preventive Maintenance, Trouble Shooting and Breakdown maintenance covered with cylinder - liner renewal, suction and discharge valves inspection, repair and replacements, rider and piston rings renewal, rod packing renewal, cross head and main bearing clearance checking, Main – Big end bearing renewal and Pumping clearance Adjusting. Mfrs: JSW, Ingersoll-Rand, Howden, kirloskar.

Turbines Maintenance:

Carried out preventive maintenance on their accessories and combustion chambers, gas fuel valves, air start motors, injectors, pre/post lube pump, changing air and diesel fuel filters, maintaining log book and change over unit be feeding password in case of an emergency during the operation.

Rotor replacements, bearing inspection and bearings renewal.

Nozzle clearance setting, stuffing box carbon Packing renewal

Performing cold and hot alignment

ALIGNMENT:

Good knowledge in Alignment with Dial (Straight edge alignment, Rim and face method, Reverse indicator method with Graphical solution) & Laser. Commissioning:

Participate and coordinate in the development of tender document for the selection of the Engineering Consultant and Contractors.

ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures

Involved in Site activities such as installation, testing and commissioning in close co-operation with and under the supervision Assistant manager.

Factory inspection of equipment spares at factory acceptance tests.

Rotary equipment Alignment Verification.

Pump mechanical seal leak verification to install in plant.

Monitoring of functional and operational tests of Rotating equipments in order to prepare the equipment to the first start up.

Preparation Lubricant list and schedule for equipments from vendor documents.

Identification of drawings for each loop from vendor documents.

Initial lubricating activities.

Lube oil flushing activities with temporary filter arrangement. STATIC EQUIPMENTS

HEAT EXCHANGERS:

Heat Exchanger leak testing, tube plugging, Tube renewal, tubes cleaning done with different types of heat exchangers.

Plate heat exchanger dismantling, gasket replacement, assembling. VALVES:

Maintenance, reconditioning and testing of gate valves, globe valves, ball valves, diaphragm valves

FILTERS AND STRAINERS:

Filter and strainers cleaning and Renewal.
