Planning scheduled quality inspection for all suppliers & parts w.r.t. dimension inspection, material inspection, reliability and durability performance test – mechanical and electrical parts, strip audit (for proprietary parts), TGW inspection (to verify and conform the past failure modes) – things gone wrong, layout inspection and retainment audit at supplier end.

Frequent visit to Genba (Customer end, Supplier End, Shop Floor, Work Office, & so on) to understand the current process and improve the exceptions.

Significant Accomplishments :

Pivotal in initiating and ensuring M2 action (temporary) within 24 hours to prevent further defect flow and M3 action (permanent) within 10 days to avoid re-occurrence for all the customer complaints.

Ensured effective usage of PQM and further system improvements (Quality Problem Management).

Enhanced product / part reliability by adapting 4 quadrant techniques.

3 Wheeler warranty reduction from 24% to 7% by completing 12 projects.

Successfully completed quality projects within time by taking 6 initiatives (Weld quality index, Firewall inspection, SPTR, Material handling, Supplier work shop & Zero defect methodology,)
