I am responsible for support of two Markets, consisting of 21 stores and six market management positions. Responsibilities include H.R. knowledge of policies and procedures, responding to benefits questions from associates, overseeing training of H.R. (People Leads) for stores, maintaining accurate management personnel and medical information files, contact and fact gathering on associate Open Door Issues, assisting stores with special ordering and equipment needs, promoting community involvement and events, review of customer service schedules, and direct contact with associate and customer issues, and amicable resolution of same. In this role I was responsible for all hiring needs for store, interviews and job offers, assuring accurate scheduling within payroll budgets, documentation of all personnel and medical files, supporting other stores by training new personnel, conducting personnel audits and orientations at area stores, training store personnel and management in procedures for Workers Compensation issues, processing daily payroll and schedules, as well as assuring evaluations and computer based learning training were completed in compliance with company requirements.
