Operations Manager (Integrated Health Systems Strengthening) – Johannesburg, South Africa:
Support the execution and implementation of public health intervention programs within the IHSS unit
Manage all HR related activities for IHSS, e.g. ensure recruitment, advertisement requests, contract requests and distribution of contracts, interview scheduling, leave applications and coordination, probation coordination, liaison with FPD HR at Head office and compliance with all FPD HR policies in liaison with area managers, are on track.
Responsible for overall management of deliverables of specific allocated contracts within IHSS, e.g. GP contracting, Vodacom, Sediba Hope contract, etc.
Responsible for the implementation of the USAID work plan through effective distribution of deliverables to district personnel and the continuous tracking of outputs via Deskaway or other relevant tracking tools
Liaise continuously with programmatic experts and FPD district leadership to ensure effective implementation of interventions with continuous quality improvement
Supervise fleet management and ensure all relevant tracking systems are in place and monitored effectively through the fleet manager in compliance with FPD vehicle policy.
Coordinate all training schedules submitted to Head office to HoD, implement monthly tracking of all training activities inclusive of NIMART competencies with required progress reports
Organize training and facilitation for Head office staff where indicated
Support SIMS QI initiatives through Area manager and QI SIMS manager activities and provide support where needed.

Develop capacity building action plans that outline pragmatic capacity building assistance required by the organizations
