Identified key contractor deficiencies and sourced new replacement contractors below budget to help turn the project around saving the company $2MM in lost time and deficient work on a $12MM hotel project.

My adaptability allowed me to take on several roles such as project manager, engineer, and controller. I was able to solve any blueprint issues while also monitoring costs, sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, developing AIA payment applications and approving weekly check runs. From my experience acquired offshore I took initiative to improve the entire Wellheads operations and installation manuals for subsea wellhead equipment installations to reduce possible future downtime incidents. Over a span of three years our team was able to cut drilling costs from $240MM down to $60MM per offshore well through improved operations.

Saved $150MM well by designing and installing a custom lock ring offshore after the original design failed.

Developed and trained rig crews (teams) on the safe handling and installation of subsea equipment for large clients such as Shell, BP, Anadarko, Petrobras and LLOG.
