WORK EXPERIENCE
Mechanical System Design Engineer, Spartan Superway Wayside Power Team at SJSU Aug 2019 – May 2020
Designed, specified, and quoted for manufacturing a custom third composite rail for the wayside power. Performed a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on the design to determine the Factor of Safety of the end product.
Researched, designed and manufactured a current collector system and third rail system for a personal rapid transportation system using 100 percent solar powered and grid tied.
Designed product via SolidWorks for the third composite rail and current collector arm mechanism.
IT Operational Manager, IndoDVC organization Jan – Dec 2016
Conducted campus outreach to Indonesian students in Diablo Valley College through social media to increase engagement and participation in hosted events
Raised up to $30K through fundraisers to host large social events and competitions accommodating hundreds of Indonesian students located in the Bay Area.
PROJECTS
Leaf Rake Project, SJSU May – Dec 2019
Designed and manufactured a user-friendly, efficient, effective, and simple-to-use leaf rake, manufactured using waterjet cutting and sheet metal bending.
Performed FEA on the design to determine the FOS of the end product, and received a minimum of 15 FOS with maximum displacement of below 0.1 mm.
Mass Cutter Projects, SJSU Jan – May 2019
Assembled and designed a multipurpose automated cutting machine with 3D-printed four bar mechanisms. Optimized performance by manually analyzing the position, velocity, acceleration and force of the assembly.
Built a mass cutter that was able to cut food faster than average home cook with a budget under $30.
Robot Projects, SJSU Aug – Dec 2017
Led a team of six multidisciplinary students and carefully reviewed each of their work on a weekly basis. Implemented a signal-tracking feature that moves the robot to track a signal and advance to designated signal beacon.
Designed a multifunctional robot by programming using Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE) to microcontroller and various electrical components.
