(Contractual Role), Duration: May.’20 - Till Date, Industry: EPC- Oil/Gas Process Plant (Equipment Manufacturing) Key responsibilities
● Analysis and design of Fired Heater supporting structure (Modular Steel Structure) including the Radiant, Convection and Stack sections. Size of the structure is around Length (22m.) x Width (14m.) x Height (75m.).
● Various loads are applied for designing the structure such as dead loading including refractory, piping and coil loading etc in various conditions such as empty, operating and test, horizontal piping loads, internal pressure, fireproof loading, live loads etc.. In addition to that wind loading has applied on the structure for both static and dynamic conditions. Then earthquake loading is taken care of to follow the response spectrum method. Eventually, the base plate and anchor bolt is also designed using excel spreadsheet calculations.
● Reviewed the mechanical General Arrangement Drawing (GAD), Interdiscipline communication to convey the message of structural needs such as piping load data, mechanical equipment loads as well as to verify the structure is safe from other structures. Reviewed 3D model, Prepared CRS during the document submission to the client.
● Analysis and design of Steel Stack tower (40m height) including Flare and Helical Strakes for both corroded and uncorroded conditions, Load cases mentioned above are also applied over here for analysis. Checked and verified the utilization ratio for the plate elements at each level/zone, Designed the Stack Anchor Base using excel spreadsheet calculation.

● Analysis and design of duct support, guide support, saddle support, lock point including steel truss bridge and steel frame, operating platform . In addition, the design of foundations of those supports.
● Analysis and design of steel structural platforms following American standards including various loads and their combinations. Interdiscipline communication to convey the message of structural needs such as load data as well as to verify the structure is safe from other structures. Reviewed 3D model.
● Connection design - Shear and moment connection, base plate and anchor bolt (both hinged and fixed conditions), insert plate under the design criteria such as shear, tension, rupture.
● Checked and reviewed the analysis and design of Air cooled condenser structure including columns, fan deck, mono rail, wind wall and other structural members, provided comments to the vendor for changes or updates in design.
