Participated in health education/medical outreach in Quito (urban) government clinic and Otavalo (rural) elementary schools through a medical student Spanish immersion program. Due to a severe lack of physicians, many of the region’s children received healthcare solely from this program. Conducted patient interviews in Spanish, examined patients and gained experience in procedures and reproductive health exams.
