Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist during induction and set up General Anesthesia Cases.Maintain and calibrate Gas Machine to ensure proper operation of anesthesia monitoring equipment.Follow standard operation of

aseptic technique.

Assists with set up and placement of invasive monitoring lines and dressing application for Intravenous Access,Central and Arterial line and Pulmonary Arterial Catheter placements.

Perform daily care and routine maintenance of anesthesia related equipments and reports all safety hazard.

Clean machine daily with disinfectant solution and spot clean as necessary .Clean and process anesthesia equipment according to manufacturers instruction. Orders and stocks essential Anesthesia equipments and supplies.

Perform blood gas assessment by obtaining specimen and related blood works during procedure. Perform trouble shooting for disabled machines and equipments.

Serves as professional and technical support and resource person for new employees and newly introduced products and machinery in anesthesia.

Complete annual competency on standard operative techniques and functionalities of Anesthesia machines.

Serve as a Preceptor to new staff and clinical rounding students and complete written clinical performance evaluation form in timely manner.

Performs other related duties assigned or requested under the guideline of professional policy standard of practice.

Perform biannual inventory of supplies and equipments. Participate in maintenance of equipments for a cost-effective Anesthesia Department.
