Project Engineer, at CDM Smith - USAID Contractor – Lebanon Assigned as Project Engineer for the Lebanon Water and Wastewater Sector Support (LWWSS) Program from Design through Construction.
The project is funded under the USAID-funded Water Project. The program provides assistance to the four Water Establishments in Lebanon and to the Ministry of Energy and Water. Main tasks include:
Site inspection and supervision of ongoing projects leading the subcontractor’s execution work, supervising and taking decision in approving or refusing related work, not conforming to project specifications, approved materials, and shop drawings
Performing Design, Preparation, Supervision, and Elaboration of shop drawings and as- built drawings for Water Pumping Stations
Preparation of technical specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), method of statements, and scope of work (SOW) for supply and works contracts
Performing hydraulic calculation for the validation and selection of various pumps
Procurement for different mechanical and laboratory equipment and accessories
Checking shop drawings, material submittals and following up the Sub Contractors on specifications and schedule
