Plant Quality Manager

Responsible for leading and managing all aspects of quality systems.

Managed a 27 million USD annual sales Business Unit, Supplying GM assembly plants, tier 1 and tier 2 customer with varieties of electronic switches. BU consisted of 250 DL & 12 IDL personnel in a two-shift operation.

Responsible for the Safety, Quality, Efficiency and P&L of the Business Unit.

Production layout consists of 30 assembly cells and 1 Stick lead (Wave solder) line.

Responsibilities included the creation, reporting and adherence of the Business Unit budget as well as the capital allocation justification and management for improvements initiatives.

Production Responsibilities: The performance of Quality, Safety and Efficiency of a two-shift production team. Production unit consisted of 6 production lines: 4 DamilerChrysler (T1), 1 GM (T1) & 1 Ford (T2). Quality Responsibilities: Monitoring and improvements of the PPM levels with our Internal (BOLT) and External Customers. Daily monitoring of DamilerChrysler SPIN system. Delphi Delco Electronics - Reynosa, MX April 1995 - December 1997

Production Manufacturing Supervisor

Responsible of the product manufacturing launch of an RF transponder for highway tolls. Manufacturing process included Surface Mount, Stick leaded wave soldering (Dover Soltec Wave) and final assembly. Participated in the product launch of Delphi’s Antenna Module for various GM model vehicles.

Engineering support in transferring an Injection Molding and hot stamp operations from Springfield MO to Reynosa Mexico.
