WORK EXPERIENCE

Worked at Progressive insurance company and became a licensed insurance adjuster.

Worked at Acadian ambulance company and climbed the ranks to become a critical care paramedic.

Completed the phlebotomy course at Century College in White Bear Lake MN.

Got certified as a phlebotomist through the NCCT.

Interned with the Hastings Fire Department in order to gain experience both in patient interaction and experience in a wide range of patient ages.

Attained my certification as an EMT -B through the national registry, and got license to practice through the EMSRB in MN.

Have been under 29 day orders working for my supply sergeant learning how to preform my duties as an armorer. Gaining proficiency with Tm’s and inventory management. Helped preform the annual showdown after AT.

Enlisted in the WI Army National Guard in order to continue my education and serve my community June 2010 graduated AIT and joined my unit April 1st 2011 and look forward to continuing my education.

Worked for A Chance To Grow as a PCA for a disabled child from September 2009 until june2010. Duties included taking him to school and taking him home and providing care until his parents got home from work.

Assistant butcher and assistant manager of meat counter, February 2008 until May 2009 at Holiday Market. Duties included taking special orders, learning to cut meat, inventory management, order confirmation and scheduling.

Customer service rep at meat counter at Holiday Market, Royal Oak, MI, from September 2007 until February 2008. Responsibilities included waiting on customers, restocking the display cases, general cleaning of meat preparation area.

Elite Security from January 2006 until August 2006 working as a security guard. I worked as head of security at Days Inn for 6 months of that time.

Karate assistant instructor at Mr. Kersey’s Karate School from June 2003 until February of 2006. This was a volunteer position in which I learned a great deal.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

Began studying Karate in February 2003.

Started to teach karate to others in November 2003.

Competed in the 2004 and 2005 Ontario National Karate Tournaments, receiving two second place and three third place wins.

Assisted in the training of a service dog, who passed her certification test in August. (June – August 2005)

Worked with a landscaper building ponds, creating rock features and building and maintaining new landscapes. ( September – December 2002, May-June 2003)

Attended three CDT (Non-deadly Force Training) workshops.

Began teaching at CDT workshops in 2005.

Majoring in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies at Oakland University, Rochester, MI from 9/2006 until 5/2009.

Participated in ROTC from 9/2005 until 5/2007.

I Currently serve in the Wisconsin National Guard 128th infantry battalion Delta company out of River Falls.

Interned for MN United, a marriage equality campaign in MN.

EDUCATION

I completed high school in June 2006. I attended Oakland University from 2006 to 2009, majoring in Arabic and Biochemistry. Attended Century College fall of 2012 for ems. I got my EMT license from the EMSRB and National Registry. Attained my CPR instructor certification through the AHA November 2012. I got certified as a phlebotomist through the NCCT may of 2013. I attended Teex at Texas A&M and became a nationally licensed paramedic and the became a critical care paramedic
