Wing overhauls including complied with RDO to split wings and inspect five rivets for damage. Used drills, rivet guns, grinders etc. Remove and installed fasteners of various types and sizes removed and replaced skins with new or fabricated new from material on hand. Worked with material ranging in size from .016 to .063 thick. Bent parts from raw stock and trim to fit, locate, drill, deburr, chemical treat, prime, and install daily. Performed Spar changes, fuel bladder replacements, leading edge De-ice boot replacements, trailing edge replacements, bearing replacements, flap track repairs and incoming inspections. Cold work and force mate certified. Installed doublers and other repairs IAW King Air SIRM and other M manuals.

Job description: Converting existing helicopters into Air Rescue Ambulances. Military mods and service work on customer craft as well as structural overhauls. Most of the EMS mods were done by trial and error, vague layouts and do what you think is best, and then pictures were taken, and dimensions measured and put in a book for future reference. Military mods consisted of adding a crane hoist for deep sea sonar deployment, long range radar. Systems and weapons mounts on Hues. These tasks required the use of honeycomb fiber panels, nut inserts installed with epoxy, as well as hi-locks, blind rivets, and sealants. Structural overhauls consisted of corrosion removal, replacement of failed fasteners, brackets, and fabrication of parts from various types of metals including multiple thicknesses and alloys of aluminum as well as stainless steel and titanium.
