Relevant Experience:

Physical Therapist: 08/11/2003 to present. Cottonwood Hospital/TOSH, Murray, UT. CCCE and Clinical Instructor. Provision of cost effective and high quality acute therapy services, working with primarily post-op orthopedic patients, with strong focus on total joint replacement. Managed roll out of Patient Safe Handling Program in my facility. Taught Patient Safe Handling classes for regional new employee orientation and facility Patient Safe Handling Champions. Solely responsible for bringing multiple CE courses to Salt Lake in partnership with GREAT Seminars.

Physical Therapist: 08/22/2003 to present. University of Utah Medical Center, SLC, UT. Provide PT services in acute setting. Able to float to any unit required, performing high quality therapy in accordance with accepted standards of care. Working in ICU, cardiovascular and post-surgical units, currently working PRN/ 2 days a week.

Physical Therapist: 3/19/2001 to 8/2/2003. St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Portland, OR. Clinical Instructor. Provided comprehensive therapy services to patients on all floors and with any diagnosis. Primary PT representative for med/ surg, renal and telemetry units. Initiated weekly rounds on med/ surg/ renal unit. Instructor for back safety program for RN’s and CNA’s. Involved in start-up of facility VAD program, served as co-instructor for Rehabilitation Services Regional Heart Education Program. Instrumental in rewriting facility-wide Bariatric Standard of Care.

Physical Therapist: 4/1999 to 9/2000. Medical City Dallas Hospital, Health & Rehabilitation Department, Dallas, TX. Provided comprehensive cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services on an inpatient/ post-surgical and outpatient basis. Co-edited a quarterly newsletter and established a post-Bariatric surgery wellness program.
