WORK EXPERIENCE
Fenagh Engineering Mechanical Engineering Intern May 2019 – Sep 2019
Operated two Concrete Compression Machines with different maximum strength capacities to test concrete samples for quality & structural integrity. Managed an excel spreadsheet with each specific strength value and recorded specific parameters viable with each concrete test.
Primary field inspector for three major construction jobs throughout the Boston area, performing slump and air testing on concrete and specific rebar inspection under supervision. Communicated with head engineers and contractors on site, reporting the testing results on the concrete and specific rebar inspections. Field reports were written after each job and dispersed to head contractors and engineers.
Updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to standardize concrete testing in the lab and increase efficiency in the calibration of field equipment used by field inspectors.
ENGINEERING PROJECTS
Senior Capstone FPV Drone 2020 ASME IAM3D U.A.R.C.V Competition
Designed and Fabricated an FPV Drone in SolidWorks utilizing a flight controller compatible with Arduino. All non- 3D printed parts for the drone were compiled and bought following a budget funded by the school. Flight tests and material tests were performed to determine the best flight ability, and a final presentation was given.
Mechanical Engineering Intro MATLAB Coding
Manufactured and Programmed small Motorized CNC Machines in Lab, utilizing MATLAB coding to perform simple 2-dimensional motion
Go Green Energy Project Massachusetts Renewable Energy
Three different Massachusetts community members were chosen to hear a presentation on renewable energy & apply for a free home inspection
