:
In the present work, fibre from banana stem is retrieved by the acid wash (citrus acid) for 48 hours. Acid wash method is one of the most effective methods for the fibre extraction from banana stem. The obtained fibre mass is used as an adsorbing treatment for the textile waste effluent.
