Website Project Manager

• Integrated the first ever social media campaign for Oldcastle. Managed and drove analytics for the platform.

• Drove sales to sales people through social media.

• Successfully rolled out the first and second iteration of the nationwide corporate and local websites (roughly 60). Worked on a ground-up rebuild of the site.

• Wrote descriptions of products, technical guides, SEM ads, all social media campaign messaging, and contributed to editing on company wide messaging.

• Consolidated 60 individual plant sites into 17 regional sites, including product offerings, drawings, and documentation. Heavy SQL inquiries and data manipulation were key in managing 10s of thousands of SKUs over 60 websites and how best to parse the information for easy user consumption.

• Critical thinking and A/B testing to gauge how the user was interacting with the site and to make sure they were being served the info they needed and what we wanted to steer them to.

• Managed and worked closely with all 3rd party vendors (developers, designers, marketing groups, and internal employees) to ensure we stay on schedule, on budget, and successful.

• Facilitated the move of our site from dedicated servers to cloud based AWS servers and maintain those server instances and volumes.

• Work extensively with the CMS system, SharePoint MOSS – SharePoint 2011, along with maintaining a handful of static HTML pages.

• Update and “freshen” up the site as often as possible (text, graphics, documents images, press releases, and banners).

• Manage Google Analytics and provided monthly reports with insights to increase traffic. Adjusted SEO and SEM based on these reports. SEO and SEM work tightly with each other, and constant keyword monitoring is necessary so as to not double up of paid terms that are already above the fold organically.

• Create graphics, banners for the site using Photoshop and Illustrator. Color correct all photos that go on the site and in our huge image library.

• Manage all domains, redirects, virtual directories, and IIS for all sites

• Responsible for presence on all social media outlets, updating and engaging our followers.

• Collaborate with team members in finding new and innovative ways to reach customers to better represent our products.

• Was part of a team that monitored and managed 10,000 ATM machines nationwide for faults and being down. Worked with branch contact to fix and boot up these down machines.

• Ran server backups for all of these financial institutions, as well as ran the direct deposit and ACH files.

• Heavy on telephone customer service as this was a call center. Answered hundreds of customer calls a day.

• This was a new degree to WSU and I was one of the first few to graduate with it. The focus of the degree was learn how to use all digital software (at the time) to create and build on the web. Basically what is now the Adobe Creative Suite.

Other Experience

I have expert knowledge of the Creative Suite. I even restore photos for fun on the side for fun. I thrive in team environments. Everyone has something to contribute and it’s always great to bounce ideas and get second opinions from co-workers. Plus, collaboration is where new and great ideas come from. I really enjoy challenges, that’s how I learn, by pushing myself, researching, learning by practical means.
