In high school was a part of a group called PALS. This is an organization where high school students go out and tutor children in elementary and middle school. Because of this group the percentage of students that passed the STAAR test that year went up (2013). I was also the captain of the boys’ cross-country and Track and Field teams as captain I helped lead that track team to win our first Track meet in 13-years and had the most people, as a team, go out to regionals that year (2013). I was also an AP and Dual Credit student with a 3.8 GPA. In college I committed myself to the ROTC program (2014). I come from an extremely military background, so it was easy to perform well and standout in a positive way. In ROTC I competed in Ranger Challenge a difficult 15mile course that tested endurance and military knowledge. I helped the team attain 4th place in the competition against 10 other universities nation-wide. After completing my first year of college I joined the military.
