Adjunct Faculty at College of Eastern Idaho, in Idaho Falls, Idaho January 2019 to present

Responsible for the creation and presentation of all course and lab materials for Anatomy and Physiology course. Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology and Lab 103. The course covers the body structures and how they function to maintain homeostasis in the body. Class was focused for License Practical Nurse students transferring to the Registered Nurse program. Responsibilities included creating all aspects of instruction and examination.

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, in Idaho Falls, Idaho October 2017 to October 2020

As a member of clinic leadership, I assisted in the development and integration of a burn and trauma center into an established wound care clinic. Lead staff during organizational and procedural changes that resulted in a five-fold increase in patient visits. As a Physical Therapist and Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) I am recognized as an expert in my field. I created a lymphedema treatment program serving Eastern Idaho. I utilize advanced wound care skills and knowledge to provide outstanding patient care. I collaborate with professionals of other medical disciplines including physicians, physician’s assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and occupational therapists. I presented research based lectures at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center’s Annual Wound Care Symposium in 2018 on offloading foot ulcers and in 2019 on compression for lower extremity edema.

Served as a Credential Clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association for four physical therapy students. Performed advanced offloading with total contact casting and compression systems. Researched and presented offloading education at bi-annual St. Luke’s Wound Care conferences. Developed and presented quarterly in-service training for physicians, mid-level practitioners, nursing staff, and aides. Worked in the home care setting as needed on weekends for wound care consults. Received Certificate of Service for Outstanding Clinical Instruction from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
