Career Experience

Supply and Logistics Manager, ERA Helicopters LLC, Lake Charles, LA 2016 to 07/2020

Monitor, maintain, and manage inventory (Parts, Tools and GSE`S) as well as administer logistic operations for company headquarters in United States, subsidiaries in South America, and customers in India, Mexico, and Spain. Function as the Supply Chain Manager for subsidiary in Brazil while enhancing organization’s supply chain capabilities. Ensure adherence to inventory control processes while assuring accurate levels and proper storage to avoid out of stock situations. Liaise with Planning and Purchasing Manager in order to facilitate logistical movements and coordinate timely deliveries. Negotiate agreements and control costs for freight, freight forward, and hotshot companies. Organize monthly KPI meetings to discuss strategies for maximizing departmental efficiencies and minimizing operating costs.

Evaluated, restructured, reorganized, and integrated new processes along with devising and implementing KPI`s to increase the efficiency and productivity of the whole department.

Introduced an annual inventory process, related SOP`s and spearheaded 117 employees in 3 different countries and companies (ERA-USA and subsidiaries in Brazil and Colombia) involved on the same process leading to reduced total overtime hours, total overtime costs by 49.02% ($29,330.45), stock corrections by 50.30% (6,621), reconciliation Logs by 82.83% (603), days for completion by 66.67% (8) with the variance of the stocks close 0%.

Created and delivered the Supply Chain Standards Manual that standardized, organized, and streamlined flow of parts within all ERA and Subsidiaries` warehouses.

Implemented new standards in the logistics department, coached the employees, developed a shipping profile, renegotiated old agreements, started new agreements establishing competition.

Coordinated efforts that decreased the average cost of the freights by 20.45% and 44.60% (Hotshots) over the course of 3 years (2016 and the average of 2017,2018 and 2019). Total Savings: $ 339,526.16.

Created and implemented export/import standards, to be set up to the shipping note of the computerizing system (RAMCO), including specifics import/export requirements to/from the countries.

Reduced workforce by 29.42% (17 to 12), by reorganizing the organization chart for supply and logistics department and initiation of new process and standards.
