Project: Contract DS 233/2 Deep Tunnel Storm Water System – Main Tunnel, Dubai, Munucipality - 10.00 m. ID,

10, 430 m. in length bored tunnel, NATM & TBM Works.

The construction of a Deep Tunnel Storm Water System in Dubai is currently underway by the PORR-Besix JV

For Dubai Municipality.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•Ensure that any activity offered for inspection with the consultant has an approved shop drawing, method statement (MS) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).

•Can implement all the assigned task & duties related to own discipline with independence & minimal guidance.

•Attend all inspection as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).

•Prepare ITP & Inspection checklist base on approved Method Statement.

•Inspection in the application of shotcrete protection.

•Inspection & quality control in the construction of Shaft diaphragm walls & NATM.

•Issue Site Corrective Action Request (SCAR) & NCR when necessary.

Project: Doha Metro Green Line Elevatedd & At- Grade - composed of 16.6 km bored tunnel, 8 underground stations and 3.2 km elevated section. Constructed with combination of cast in situ segment & segmental span pre-cast concrete segment and rail track works.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•Can implement all the assigned task & duties related to own discipline with independence & minimal guidance.

facilities within Education City. The system has 12 km track with 1 km viaduct. The

construction composed of track works, tram stop & depot facilities & stations.

Project Cost: QR 1.5 billion

Duties & Responsibilities:

•Quality Assurance & Quality Control implementation.

•Monitor the everyday progress of all civil & structural works at site.

•Ensure that all activities for inspections have an approved shop drawing, method statement &

Inspection and test plan (ITP).

Ensure the materials being used have passed the needed tests requirements for the project.

•Report issues, non-conformance & poor quality of works and liaison with the QC Engineer,

oissue SDR & NCR.

Consist of 9.7 km of 6.0-meter diameter bored tunnel with pre-cast segmental and HDPE lining. Two workshop with 16.9 internal diameter up to 79-meter-deep & two access shaft with 6.9 m internal diameter. Two 7 m long additional connection.

Project Cost: AED 1.5 billion

Duties & Responsibilities:

•Quality Assurance & Quality control implementation to ensure that all activities are executed in

accordance with the contract specification, method statements and inspection & test plan (ITP).

•TBM, monitor contractor’s tunnel operation, progress of works everyday & record the TBM inspection and maintenance.

•Inspection in the application of shotcrete protection to diminish the loosening & excessive rock deformation prior to work advance.

•Inspection & quality control in the construction of diaphragm walls & NATM.

•Inspection & quality control of CPL construction using self propelled tunnel form works.

•Assist the ARE & RE by carrying out surveillance for all aspects of health, safety, environment, spoil disposal & logistic issues.

The project composed of two major tunnels (cut & cover) with dual carriageways having 3 traffic lanes each. One under pass structures & 5 span win bridges at the intersection at IP- 44.

(2) Al Ras Al Akdar & Baynoonah Street Upgrading

The project consists of two km road improvement with 411m cut & cover tunnel

(3) Hodariyat Bridge Project

The project is a Cable Stay Bridge. It will connect Abu Dhabi Eastern Coast to Hodariyat Island. The 1.3 km bridge crossing provides vertical 29 m for 170 m navigational channel. The super structure carries 6 lanes of traffic & 2 walkways. It consists of 36 m wide single strut inside & outside box. The 200-m long span is supported by a single plane of stay cable within the bridge median.

Project Cost: AED 406,000,000.00

(4) Sheik Khalifa Bridge with Rail Corridor- Mina Link Road

The project serves as the link between the Mina-Zyed & Zaadiyat Island Development. The bridge has a main span of 200 m with a passenger rail corridor. It was constructed using Balanced Cantilever Method. Incremental Launching Method and Cast in Situ Box Girder construction.

Project Cost: AED 835,360,000.00
