My job was to handle automobile claims. This consisted of investigating, evaluating, negotiating and settling auto claims in an assigned area, which included verification of coverage, legal liability and extent of damage to a person’s property, which may require contact by phone, correspondence through mail or various electronic media. I was promoted to P3 level after two years and was often put in a role of leadership, by becoming a point person assisting new hires and working with management to resolve claim related issues.
