Responsible for the ERM, Internal Audit and SOX compliance at MDA Corporation (a former subsidiary of Maxar Technologies), previously reporting to Senior Director of Internal Audit based in Denver, Colorado. MDA is Canada’s leading space and technology company with over 3,500 employees and 14-locations across North- America. It is celebrated for manufacturing the Canadarm for the International Space Station. Key responsibilities include:

First successful completion of SOX certifications for all MDA locations as per U.S. SOX requirements. o Effectively managed this challenging project with numerous controls and delays in testing, by leading with SOX Compliance team, external auditors, and other senior management. o Successful coordination with internal Business Owners, third-party advisory group, and internal compliance team resulted in developing new controls, improvements to the standard business processes, and control environment regarding SOX compliance.
