2019 Began my journey at the 91APP, Inc., the largest Application as a Service
(AaaS) company in Taiwan, founded by Steven Ho, the legendary “Godfather of Taiwan’s E-commerce” that devotes his business in the retail industry. Governed the Product Marketing Department to conduct all internal and external product training, lead the deployment of the corporate web site completed in a 3-month course, design all Chinese and English content marketing strategies, and develop the 91APP Partners Program. 2016 Joined the Factory Zoom, Inc. (dba MAYKKE), a new e-commerce platform startup focuses on “Restoration Hardware Meets Amazon without Purchasing Inventory”.
Designed, implemented and penetrated the global supply chain of patented Factory-to-Direct Consumer (F2DC) business model, importing from oversea manufacturers to the local fulfillment center, to domestic delivery. 2015 Administered the market research and PESTLIED analysis of Australia, and developed the five-year roadmap of Newegg Australia, from ‘Orbiting’ (Virtual Fulfillment) to ‘Crewed Landing’ (Order Fulfillment Center), to reach the target of US $70+ Millions top-line revenue by 2020. Propelled the build of three new Newegg Hybrid Center™ {A brand & product experience store} in Edison (NJ), Indianapolis (IN) and Toronto, Canada. 2014 Headed the 25 persons cross-geographical team (Canada, China, Taiwan, and USA) of Newegg's Components Domain to successfully accomplished a new sales record of $647 Million Gross Revenue and $54 Millions Total Margin, and stimulated 1.5X cumulative cash flow thru contracted inventory turnaround control and incremented net product margin. Formulated the comprehensive product showrooming and event marketing program for the Newegg Hybrid Center™, to yielded its $450,000 capital expenditure in less than 4 months and received strong brand recognition
(e.g. The brand marketing event, Monster Madness with Shaquille’O Neil). 2013 Designed the distinctive Online-to-Offline (O2O) business model for Newegg, and built the first Newegg Hybrid Center™, from blueprint design to fabrication, to the coordination of grand opening ceremony, in the 6-week course.
Initiated and carried out the first global merchandising campaign (Canada, China, and USA) in launching the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650Ti graphics technology, which sold more than 20K+ units worldwide in its first week. Chaired the User Experience (UX) committee to reengineer the Newegg.com.cn web site for bringing business back into the core competency.
2012 Constituted and administrated the daily operations of the Merchandising Department in Newegg China, as well as talents development, and Newegg.com.cn resulted to deliver a new single-day sales record of RMB
$150+ Million revenue and 30K+ Invoices on BlackFriday. Planned, coordinated, and hosted the 300 VIP guest bouquet of the Newegg China 11th Anniversary Appreciation Dinner.
2011 Composed strong strategic partnerships with manufacturers and game publishers to attain $167 Million Gross Revenue and 1+ Million unit sales record, as well as optimized the inventory turnover ratio to 26 times (2- weeks average inventory holding period) and resulted of being awarded as the Best Channel Partner of the Year by AMD and NVIDIA. 2010 Consecutively exceeded the annual sales budget and built a strong foundation for the VGA category resulted in withholding the No.1 retailer position in the global graphics cards market until the present days. 2009 Won a personal award, the “Hightech Information System Limited (HIS) in recognition of valuable contribution to their success in 2009”. 2008 Conceived and framed the ‘SuperCombo’ category, a new PC components conglomerate, in generating $2+ Million monthly revenue since on. 2007 Joined the Newegg, a $2.8 Billion E-commerce enterprise, focuses on selling PC Hardware and Consumers Electronics, to lead its fifth-largest category, VGA and Video Devices.
2005 Directed the GIGABYTE NALA Marketing Department in public relationship, channel marketing, events coordination, and web design. 2003 Managed and growth hacked the GIGABYTE USA VGA business to qualify as the NVIDIA NA Authorized Board Partner.
2001 Planned, developed and managed the MSI Canada omnichannel business
(Distribution, E-commerce, Retail & System Integration), and achieved a single-month sales record of 10K+ unit graphics cards.
