GENERAL SAFETY WORK STRUCTURE

Implement Occupational HSE policy of company and client approved HSE manual in the construction and commissioning of the project.

Provide expert advices for management on Health Safety and Environment and legal issues.

Conduct internal weekly safety audit to ensure safe systems of work are followed and good standards of housekeeping is maintained at site.

Conduct daily site visit for safety observations, identifying hazards, unsafe conditions, and violations and provide remedial actions and ensure remedial actions are implemented in time.

Plan, develop and implement safe systems of work for high risk activities like hot works, confined space entries and work at heights etc.

Conduct safety induction training to the new employees and In-house training to keep the employees aware of site regulations and policies and safe working practices.

Identify training needs for employees and provide/arrange refresher training/third party specialist training for the employees including old employees.

Conduct incident and accident investigation on any near miss, LTI, minor and major injuries and provide recommendations for improvement.

Conduct suitable and sufficient Risk Assessments of all routine and non-routine activities, COSHH and implement the controlling measures to ensure safe progress of project and review periodically and whenever found necessary.

Conduct site safety meetings on beginning of new activities/jobs at site.

Ensure tool box talks are conducted on hazards and precautions for all activities and recorded.

Carry out daily, weekly and monthly inspections of all heavy equipment, hand and power tools and other electrical equipment, lifting devices and plants and machineries using check lists.

Implement awards and penalties for encouraging a positive safety culture and safe working environment.

Conduct camp/first aid clinic inspections monthly to monitor and ensure safety, health and environment standards.

Co-ordinate with section managers to ensure safe working systems is followed for timely progress of project.

Advise management on HSE legislations and regulations.

Participate in the review and update of MS & RA in monthly basis.

Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports.

Prepare monthly statistics and complete documentation.

Co-ordinate and conduct site Emergency drills
