1. Current Roles& responsibility:-

Stores & warehouse in charge & Purchase coordinator at Bekaert industry private ltd, Chennai. (From 2011 to till, date)

Well knowledge of handling SAP

Certified IATF 16949:2016 Internal Auditor

2. Store-In charge:-

Handling incoming goods receipt.

Unloading of incoming material with safety & quality aspects to proper specified location.

While receipt insure document verification, material verification

Submitting Test certificate to Q.C. department or end user .Getting approval from authorized on delivery Challan for GRIR.

Preparation of GRIR in system.

After approval, preparation of GRIR in SAP with Excise & accounting compliances.

Preparation purchase requisition.

Preparation of manual purchase requisition, after receipt of Specific receipt note from end user.

Preparation of Auto generation purchase requisition, after MRP run & as per discussion or suggestion with end user

Issue of all types stock material.

Issue of material as when require to end user according to Manual issue note.

Updating of Issue of material in SAP with proper cost center & internal order respective.

Ensure FIFO system followed.

Systemic & safety storage of material.

Systemic & safety storage of stock material in respective area with proper identification.

Insure the preservation of stock material.

3. Warehouse-In charge:-

Management of Finished Goods Inventory.

To carry physical stock of finished goods on a fortnightly basis and compare this stock with SAP stock

Monitor expired products and inform to QA for necessary action.

In case of discrepancy, to report to Supply Chain Manager for necessary action.

Once the discrepancy is resolved, report the stock to the Management.

Ensure good preservation of the finished goods.

On time delivery Monitoring.

Record of delays in dispatches on account of production delays, last minute changes in the customer schedule, delays from the lab or any other delays which has caused delay the supplying the goods to customer. Same to be forward to all concerned department.

Storage of rejection.

Store the rejection at the designated area with proper identification.

Inform QA for further action.

4. Purchase Coordination:-

Responsible for Preparation of Purchase Order, Timely conversion of Requisition in to Purchase Orders

Prepare pending Purchase Order and Pending Purchase requisition statement & make follow-up accordingly & inform end-users for delays or changes.

Monitor Weekly receipts of material in plant & ensure about next process is happening timely or not. Coordinate with stores for timely & correct documentation.

5. Projects:-

Cost Reduction, Inventory Management

Reduce cost of purchase material and inventory in stores also reduce, we maintain only 15 days of production inventory in stores. we arrange local vendor to supply the material within 5days from the PO. we avoid 50% import spares to reduce cost. Nearly from the year 2017 to till date we reduce the inventory cost around 5 crores rupess.
