PROFILE: Dynamic 20-year plus career highly skillful in developing working relationships with senior stakeholders, technical writing and editing of documents prepared by others using various programs/software: Microsoft 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher), Outlook, SharePoint, PDF Converter, Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign). Editing plans, reports, memorandums, and manuals in a prescribed report or letter format and preparing and editing presentations/documents accurately ensuring that plans and reports are written in standard format to accommodate a specific document and audience. Rewrite or recommend rewrites of portions of text to improve clarity and style ensuring test reports and plans consist of purpose, background, system or concept description, test conduct and methodology, issues, criteria, measures, test limitations, test results and analyses, conclusions, and recommendations. Prepare and deliver briefings and presentations regarding issues, problems, and/or progress of studies with subject matter experts.

Review and edit plans and reports of operational and user tests of Airborne and Special Operations equipment (force development tests and experimentation, joint combined tests, and training development tests) conducted by U.S. Army Operational Test Command (USAOTC), Airborne and Special Operations Test Directorate (ABNSOTD) using a wide variety of hardware, software, and resources provided (test concept brief (TCB), operational test and experiment readiness reviews (OTRRs), test request, system evaluation plans (SEPs),and Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs)

Research, gather, and interpret information to identify inefficiencies, make recommendations, create solutions based on factual foundations, logical development, and are supported by conclusive data.

Work closely with a staff consisting of (test officers, operations research systems analysts, and other test team members) when coordinating a strawman, drafts, and internal review of various types of plans and reports (static line (SL), military free-fall (MFF), simulated airdrop impact test (SAITs), and low velocity airdrop (LVAD) test.

Research, analyze, and evaluate the operational and administrative functions of editorial office to determine nature of requirements, logical work, and information flows

Ensure that no gaps exist in methodology and that the tables, graphs, and illustrations conform with text. Ensure consistency and continuity of text; logical and meaningful presentation; style and use of language; formats; grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc.

Reports are written in a prescribed report or letter format and frequently have multiple authors. Make minor deviations to format to accommodate specific reports. Rewrite or recommend rewrites of portions of text to improve clarity and style of reports, plans, executive summaries and SF 298s). Edit reports to ensure correction of discrepancies noted.

Utilize and monitor Desktop Publishing and publication of plans and reports to meet milestone dates and provides quality control of all test documents.

Provide assistance to test report authors, explain requirements of published guidelines and inadequacies or errors in reports. Advise on proper treatment of data and facts within the report, construction of graphics, how to treat questionable data, exclusion of extraneous data, inconsistency of data, proper organization of text, proper treatment of deviations from standard format, etc.

Independently prioritize work to meet deadlines for simultaneous documentation requirements and within the framework of established policies, procedures and priorities, and control published guidelines. Responsible for typing and publication of report to ensure milestone dates are met.

Maintain and file documents in accordance with Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS). Digital backup and transfer records to Installation Records Holding Area (RHA)

Create visual communicative designs for report plans and covers. Providing a wide variety of layouts.

Responsible for researching employment programs, implementing organizational structure, mission objectives, functions, procedures, and policies.
