AREAS OF EXPERIENCE

Piping Engineer (September 30, 2019 – Present)

1.Project : Upgrading of Dagat-Dagatan Sewage Treatment Plant to CAMANA Water Reclamation Facility

Company : JFE Engineering – Philippine Branch

•Create piping system’s blueprints based on layout plan.

•Provide standard design practice related to piping activities to the contractor prior to the project execution.

•Incorporate the piping design and layout to 3D modelling using AutoCAD Plant 3D prior for the model review by the client.

•Modify piping system prior to alignment with other disciplines (Civil, Electrical, etc.) and to have coordination between them.

•Performs piping material estimation during BOM extraction in isometric drawing.

•Performs head loss calculation of all pumps for efficient and reliable flow rate prior to procurement.

•Respond to comments from client and expedite immediately prior to weekly progress report.

•Propose cost-effective solution to management for better cost estimation of the whole projects.

•Prepares Line Index; Tie-in list; Piping layout; Piping information; Loading calculation; steam trace layout; MTO sketch; BM/BQ; Plan and Isometric drawing in compliance with project standards; specification; contract requirements; and accepted engineering and construction practices.

•Selects line which requires stress/vibration sketch following the criteria set for analysis and evaluation; prepares mechanical data; performs calculation for initial displacement with assistance of superior.

•Assist in developing model for stress/vibration analysis; interprets and evaluates the result; and recommends method of resolution to comply with applicable vendor’s allowable or code requirements.

•Performs highly specialized 3D CAD application using SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) for modelling of equipment; structural and piping system; interference detection; annotation; model review; and plan drawing extraction according to project 3D modelling procedure.

Design Engineer (Mechanical/Piping) (April 2, 2018 – September 7, 2018)

1.Project: 5 MLD UP Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade / Diliman, Quezon City Philippines

•Responsible for validation of vendor’s equipment which should be complied to the client standard.

•Assigned as engineering design coordinator for checking and implementing the design practice with compliance to required project specification.

•Ensure the material requested meets the standard requirement, approved budget and project specification prior for final procurement.

•Assigned for site inspection and assessment of project activities during construction.

•Arrange piping layout in such a manner that shall be economical on costing and quantities of materials, accessible through maintenance and operable for all the valves and instrument.

•Responsible for mechanical design submittals which includes General Arrangement Drawings, Piping & Instrument Diagram (P&ID), Mechanical Datasheet for all equipment and other required deliverables by the client.

Piping Designer III (May 4, 2015 – August 31, 2017)

1. Project: Refrigerated Gaseous Tank Facility (RGTF) / Johor, Malaysia

Company: Chiyoda Philippines Corporation

•Ensure the quality checking of all deliverables which includes isometric drawing, final 3D model review, General Arrangement (GA) drawing, detailed Plot Plan, Vendor Equipment drawing and data sheet.

•Responsible for approval or sign-off of all drawing deliverables prior for submission to client in coordination from other design group.

•Perform piping loading data calculation prior to standard arrangement of structural pipe rack

•Assigned applicable standard support in accordance to stress design requirements.

•Execute and implement international standards such as ASME B31.3 with compliance to client or project specification.

2. Project: Freeport Liquefied Natural Gas / Houston Texas, USA

Company: Chiyoda Philippines Corporation

•Execute piping design works as per Piping Project Execution Plan.

•Directly supervise the input in Piping Design System (PDS) & monitoring of Hold Items list for follow-up information to Area Lead.

•Provide pipe routing design, nozzle arrangement and structural platform/stages information, pipe support lugs on equipment, electrical tracing information and other miscellaneous requirements.

•Check, review and comment on 3D design and on isometric drawings in accordance with project specification.

•Responsible for pipe clash checking prior to preparation of 30%, 60% & 90% model review comments.

•Preparation and checking of detail plot plan prior to IFC issuance.

•Preparation and consistency checking on tie-in package deliverables.

•Perform manual Material Take-Off (MTO) for valves and other components. Consistency check the generated MTO from PDS 3D model against the input in B1/B2 Material Data Sheet.

Piping Designer II (Nov. 11, 2013 – Apr. 30, 2015)

1.Project: Shell Tabangao Asset Renewal Tabangao Refinery Euro-IV Compliance (STAR-TREC) / Batangas, Philippines

•Review the 3D model from Navisworks by consistency checking based on the latest revision of Process Engineering Flow Scheme (PEFS) or the P&ID.

•Responsible for 3D Piping Model Clash Checking using Navisworks Simulate and have a weekly reporting to Project Engineer regarding the progress.

•Preparation of Material Take-Off (MTO) based on the actual quantity in Isometric Drawing and review the Final MTO control list prior to delivery and purchase of materials to the construction site.

•Responsible for piping layout/routing of small bore sizes such as utility and auxillary lines based on the updated P&ID.

2.Project: Papua New Guinea Liquefied Natural Gas (PNG-LNG) As-Built / Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

•Assigned on consistency checking of isometric drawing from PDS 3D model based on the latest revision and updated PDS model file.

•Responsible for controlling the document list for the revision of General Arrangement (GA) drawings & SPS (Special Pipe Support) drawings.

•Expedite the revision of Special Pipe Support (SPS) based on the Field Design Change from the construction site.

•Update the 3D model in PDS software based on the latest revision prior to Field Design Change from construction site.

Piping Designer I (June 13, 2011 – Nov. 08, 2013)

1.Project: Tokuyama Malaysia Polysilicon (TMP- Train 1&2) / Sarawak, Malaysia

•Responsible for 3D modelling operation of piping, equipment, pipe support & structures.

•Checking the Isometric drawing for incorrect pipe support, inconsistency from 3D model as per project standard and specification.
