Unit Rig was a very successful maker of off-highway dump trucks sold under the brand name of Lectra Haul. Lectra Haul was eventually sold to Terex then to Bucyrus Erie, who were taken over by Caterpillar Inc. around June 2011. Unit rig production drawings were redetailed to manufacture in Caterpillar facilities. Executed Conversion of drawing from SI units to metric units as per ASME stds. Drawing quality checking of piece part, Welding assy and groups of UNIT RIG MT4400D truck, MT5300 truck and CAT C7.1 TIER4 186 kW (249 hp)/ 1800 rpm surface drill machine products as per ASME Y14.5-2009 stds.

Design of LPS 4930, exhaust routing:

Exhaust routing has been done to adopt Cummins C 8.3, 296 HP engine to replace existing K4D3F DAEWOO engine of 6X4, 15-ton dump vehicle. The design has been performed, evaluated for Cost reduction requirements and production drawings were released and design modification list (DML) for new hoses has been released.

Design and Fitment of frame reinforcement of LPK 2530 Mining Tipper:

The cause of frame failure was analyzed and Frame reinforcement (Inner C channel) was designed according to the frame failure. Design of Frame reinforcement was done by using Pro-e Wildfire 3 and Information drawing and assembly information drg made.

Design and development on frame assembly of LPK 2530 mining tipper:

Complete Modeling and Detailing of Novus LPK 2530 Mining Tipper Frame and sub frame with optimized mounting holes positions for the mounting of frame reinforcement. Mounting provisions were optimized and modifications were introduced as per recent iterations. Information drawing of Frame Assy had done using Pro-e wildfire 3.

New conceptual design of Custom noise shield assembly, Retarder integration for LPK 2530 Mining tipper:

The position of the noise shield mounting brackets and fitment of noise shield was obsolete according to the new electric retarder system. Design of the Noise shield and mounting brackets were done using pro-e wildfire 3. The new electric retarder system was placed and necessary mounting brackets were designed.
