Process Engineering:

New Product Launch & Scale up:

Work with cross functional team including R&D, Production, Quality, Supply chain & Customer service team for any new development

Review Data Sheets of new raw materials and obtain necessary approval for storage & handling requirements through management of change process.

Taking sample trials at lab and confirming minimum agreed quality parameters for the new product

Conducting pilot trials at minimum volume and monitor the performance for the consecutive 3 batches using First Lot Control Process with R&D

Scale up minimum batch size to the higher volume (up to 10 KL) by establishing Process controls Standard Operating Procedure & work instructions.

Process Controls – Standard Operating Procedures & Work Instructions

Establish process controls by considering Rate and sequence of raw material addition, Minimum Mixing Volume, Process temperature, Mixing RPM, Mixing Time so on.,

Controlling utility Vs cooling water, chilled water, compressed air & nitrogen as demanded by the process,

Establish mill parameters like quantity of media, pressure and flow rate, in line with process & equipment specification.

Develop process check list & incorporate with SAP Process order for the smooth transfer to production.

Develop standard operating procedures & work instructions for every process & equipment controls

Train the Production & quality employees on every aspect of process controls

Review the adherence to process control of every process order with production & quality team members on a daily basis.

Identify the critical to quality parameters using FMEA, Control plan and develop in process checks

Establish process controls in PLC appropriately

Process Optimisation:

Execute commissioning of every equipment for its readiness for trial

Documents all the commissioning parameters and required for future reference

Conduct PSSR along with supplier and EHS to identify gaps

Close all the PSSR gaps with engineering inputs

Organize trial for the smooth transfer of handing over.
