Preparation & Maintenance of corporate HSE procedures (Standard Operating Procedures) Involved in developing & updating the Elenco General Contracting EST, HSE Management System in accordance with OSHAD 3.1 & ISO 45001.

Conducting internal audits to verify legal compliances Advising the senior management on changes in legal requirements

Incorporating legal & other requirements & changes in those requirements into the Elenco General Contracting Est.

Preparing HSE Bid documents & completing client HSE questionnaire

Submitting quarterly reports to the OSHAD and monthly reports to Clients (as per their guidelines and requirements)

Compiling weekly & monthly statistics from all projects & presenting to the senior management

Preparation of HSE plans for implementation at all project sites.

Responsible to communicate with SRA and 3rd party consultant to implement OHS management system to meet the OSHAD –SF standards.

Identify hazard for all High Risk Activities assess the risks and define control measures with site management, Support supervisors to communicate risk assessments and method statements down to the workers level.

Carry out EHS/OHS weekly inspection with client and contractors and advise site management for improvement of safety health and environment.

Exercise authority to suspend work, in case of deviation in High Risk Activities rules, until corrective actions are taken.

Ensure safety inductions, TBTs and required safety training as per client and OSHAD-SF instructions.

Report immediately and investigate all EHS events to a suitable level depends upon the severity or potential severity.

Investigated fatal incident, dangerous occurrence near misses in the line with review risk assessment training to prevent reoccurrence.

In high rise projects

Conduct reviews on Contractors’ HSE documents to ensure compliance with the agreed procedure. Monitor and report on the HSE standard achieved by Contractors.

Issue Action management notice where significant HSE non-conformance identified.

Intervene in situations where serious or imminent danger is observed and ensure that Contractors take corrective and preventive action.

Complete HSE assessments and participate in HSE audits as necessary. Assist in incident investigations and monitor the implementation of identified corrective and preventive action. Prepare monthly project HSE reports.

Carry out frequent safety inspections to check conformance with the established safety program and to draw Site HSE Manager Attention to defect or deficiency for review and as a basis for continuous improvement.

Check proper usage and maintenance of PPE and evaluate its effectiveness.

Ensure that any equipment on site is suitable and provided with necessary valid certificates.

To follow any other instructions given by Site HSE Manager for the betterment of the project.

Responsible to maintain the records for all kind of HSE Inspections reports, TPI certificates of tools, equipment’s, personnel’s records for audit purpose.

Responsible for his own safety and that of others working around him.

Responsible for preparing the site safety report in the client format.

Assist Site HSE Manager for documentation to submit the report to HSE Dept. /Client on time when requested.

Responsible for conducting training awareness session where as required.

Ensure all personnel are competent and/or certified as per their trades, i.e. riggers, plant banks man, crane operators, etc.

Conduct environmental & waste management audit inspection and the report have to be submitted to HSE Line Manager.

Ensure the employees are trained on the impact & aspect of environmental issues & proper waste management.
