SUMMARY OF PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Altegra Health: Primary duties involve preparing and developing contracts for Altegra’s various service lines. Administration of this contract process involved developing scope of services and deliverables with sales and account managers and business unit leads, reviewing redlines for sufficient legal protections, collaborating with clients, obtaining executive approval and facilitate the execution of contracts. Additional duties included developing contract policy and process as well as developing contract administration infrastructure, including evaluation and deployment of contract management software via SAAS vendors.
Care1st Health Plan: Primary duties are to improve contract process and contract generation quality by researching areas of improvement and developing process and policy to make quantitative improvements. This is accomplished by tracking current contracts, updating and revising contract templates and forms, coordinating with other departments to improve process flow, and performing quality assurance of final documents. Additional duties include the negotiation of emergent agreements with non-contracted medical providers and relationship building leading to full contracts with various medical providers.
Huntington Hospital: Primary duties at Huntington Hospital involve project design and management of the following contract and policy related projects: a) contract centralization and database development and, b) contract template creation and annual legal update, c) policy revision, and d) compliance screening of debarred vendors with objective to centralize hospital contract management process and subsequent policies by utilizing acquired software.
Parallel duties include providing business and legal review of hospital contracts, drafting various contracts, coordinating and participating in various meetings to solidify the terms and implications of proposed contracts and creating standardized templates with the assistance of legal counsel. Additional duties involve developing a streamlined process and policy for physician contract renewal and conducting “event reporting” training. Further duties include “quality coach” training to department personnel.
CCBill/Cave Creek Web Hosting: CCBill, Cave Creek Web Hosting, Secured Servers, and DRM Networks are sister companies under the CWIE Holding umbrella and offer web hosting and online payment processing services. Responsibilities at CWIE were to ensure legal and regulatory compliance to various state and federal laws were met. This was accomplished by researching and monitoring various legal issues, such as the Patriot Act, CanSpam Act, Digital Millennium Copyright Act and ensure that our contracts and policies not only complied with the law but afforded our companies the minimal amount of exposure to lawsuits. Additional, duties including reviewing client contracts and contracts with partners and suppliers; coordinate litigation efforts with outside counsel, and assisting law enforcement agencies with investigation, and resolving DMCA copyright infringement claims.
State of Arizona: Responsibilities involved tracking litigation discovery documents in a class action suit, researching and evaluating other state’s child support programs “best practices”, participation in various workgroups to develop programs such as “The Fatherhood Initiative” and “No Wrong Door.” Subsequent responsibilities included participation on various workgroups to develop and implement Child Protective Service policies relating to record retention and disbursement pursuant to Arizona statute (A.R.S. § 8-807) and HIPAA.
