UC Davis Computer Vision Intern (1 year) September 2019 - Current
• Researching to create an augmented reality quadcopter gaming system that would consist of a game player, a quadcopter with a video camera, a computer, a touch controller, a virtual reality headset, and wireless communication links.
• Utilized the ZED SLAM API to establish video communication/localization to the Unity plugin for the virtual reality games built for the quadcopters. Google Capstone Project Apprenticeship (6 months) January 2019 - June 2019
• Worked in a team to create an Android application to help people with public speaking using Google’s speech-to-text API to track deviations from a user’s script.
• Developed the user’s settings as well as the audio and video UI for an interactive user experience.
AlienVault, Data Science Intern (1 year) June 2016 -August 2017
• Actively participated in strategic planning through the utilization of platforms in NetSuite and Salesforce.
• In addition, I developed supervised learning models for financial expenses and marketing strategies to be used within the Salesforce platform. ENGINEERING PROJECTS
Machine Learning - Fake News Detection (Python, Tensorflow, Neural Networks)
• Worked in a team to incorporate several machine learning and NLP algorithms to determine the legitimacy of online news articles using binary classification.
• Developed a script to apply SVM’s to 3 distinct NLP algorithms to determine optimal classification of dataset.
Warcraft II Web Server (Node.js, HTML/CSS, AWS)
• Web application to host the 1990’s video game Warcraft II. Utilized Node.js for back-end development and AWS for deployment.
Machine Learning - Motion Tracking Robot (Python, OpenCV, Embedded Systems)
• Utilized OpenCV and embedded systems to develop a robot that locks onto a provided target and proceeds to follow the relative motion of that target.
• Developed a script that used Convolutional Neural Networks for video classification of specific targets to follow.
