As a Technical Sales Representative, I interact with technical staff from a variety of industries and is responsible for selling product and meeting targets, providing support as well as building brand awareness. Some duties are identifying potential customers, demonstrating product features and benefits, negotiating, and closing sales. Strong sales orientation and technical expertise helps me network and communicate product abilities and features. Work closely with all clients to optimize sales results. Form strong relationships and maintain close contact with key decision makers in the sales territory. Compose detailed call reports, territory sales plans and forecasts in order to assist sales and marketing. Plan and conducted sales presentations and trainings. Increase new business in the sales chromatography instrumentation as well as microbiology and molecular based products. Manage as technical support in the EC working closely with our team of engineers in JHB.

Responsible for maintaining and managing the relationships with customers I established. This often involves travelling to customers and corresponding to queries via telephone and email after customer visit. I work closely with my internal sales representative and product specialists in the processing of orders, soliciting of opinions, providing information about new products and services.
