Software Engineer Intern

05/2017 -

• Responsible for the design, coding, unit testing and documentation of software components and features. Built automation test framework

• Work with the software engineering team to meet deliverables. Received instructions and guidance from mentor regarding required tasks and expected results.

• Fully embedded in fast pace software agile development teams. Participate in sprint planning, demos and daily scrum activities.

• Reports on progress on daily basis or as required.

• Bug repository and Dedicated QA testing.

Activities and Honors

• Member, Honors Society CSU.

• Student Coordinator, Center for International Services & Programs, CSU. Projects

• COVID-19 Data Visualization with Tableau Desktop. Visualize the latest situation in Ohio, developed a dynamic data visualization dashboard to show the total cases, deaths and the death rate for the following state.

• Implementation of Memory Paging Algorithms. Implemented Page Fault Frequency Algorithm and variable Interval Sample Algorithms using Python.

• Machine Learning (Smart Judicial System). Pre-processed the data using python libraries and implemented Recursive Feature Elimination for future engineering. Used Scikit-learn to create models using various machine learning algorithms and compared these models using different statistical metrics such as R- squared values, bias, variance and accuracy.

• Designed a car sell/buy website using Nodejs for backend and angular for frontend. Followed Model View Controller design pattern.

• Implemented a reliable Data Transfer Protocol. (rdt3.0 protocol) Implemented the event driven network protocols.

• Implemented a Link State Routing algorithm and executed it in its environment. Used Unix processes to simulate routers in a network running link state routing using the Dijkstra algorithm. Perform test on the implementation by sending packets between nodes in the network and printing a trace of the path each packet follows.

• Designed a File Management System in Operating System in which it includes features such as creating a file, deleting it and modifying it. The program can also sort the file by its name, size and last modified date.

• Designed a CPU Scheduler by implementing the CPU scheduling algorithms existing in operating systems books and researches on real world and calculated the average waiting time and turnaround time with drawing a grant chart for algorithms and compared its performance to discover suitable and the best algorithm. For the analysis purpose and testing, the user first specifies each process along with its information such as arrival times and burst time and then algorithms can be computed producing output in appropriate format readability

• Used networks to simulate and study packet analysis based cyber-attacks. Our virtual network topology connects to a game that we built where players are re-conduct experiments that we have developed in order to simulate their own packet analysis attacks. This experiment has been used to offer students a controlled environment where they can perform and study real time cyber-attacks. (Installed TOR) (Research Project under Geni.net) Additional Information
