The project involved loading data from data files received from sources into the Data Warehousing System using SQL Loader. From there, Liquidity Mart extracts data for various reporting purposes. Day to day work involved development, maintenance, customer support, changing the existing functionalities as per new requirements and adding new functionalities.
In addition to this, after ABN Amro acquisition by RBS, a new requirement came up to add ABN Amro system feed into their main Data warehouse, GRDW and then into Liquidity Mart. I had involved in Development, Gap Analysis and Component Design. Both Application and Component design activities were in progress when I left RBS.
I was working in their development centre based in Gurgaon, India.
