Chess Playing Wooden Robot Design Winter 2020

• Designed a mechincal system consisting of a wooden robotic arm and smart chessboard utilizing all general engineering principles considering size, weight, ease of manufacturing, and accuracy of intended operation.

• Lazer cut machined all components of the chess board and all electronic wiring for the robot and chessboard.

• Designed the code programming for the robotic arm movement using Arduino software.

• Soldered 64 wires onto Single Board Micro-controller (Micro-controller on a single Printed Circuit Board) as the brain between the Chess Board and Robot Arm.

• Team received Top 3 recognition (Grade: A-) out 16 teams. Senior Design Project – Tensegrity Wing Design Fall 2018 - Spring 2019

• Created a lightweight wing with the ability to morf / transform mid-flight in an effort to increase speed performance and lower fuel consumption.

• Produced multiple Ghant charts for Project Requirements, Reviews, Manufacturing, and Testing.

• Performed wind tunnel testing using LabView software.

• Designed all components of the lightweight wing utilizing Solid Works.
