Reporting directly to the CEO, brought all human resources, risk management and payroll competencies in-house from a PEO, while defining the departments from scratch and hiring key staff.
Designed a comprehensive health and welfare package to include 70% new offerings used to attract and retain talent, decreased premiums while using the savings to increase company contributions.
Led risk management programs pertaining to federal and state compliance, saving the company hundreds of thousands in legal fees. Created internal compliance auditing tools for all HR programs ranging from TB tests, DMV checks, CPR tests, license verification, vehicle (drivers) training, safety training, etc.
Identified and drove implementation of Ceridian’s DayForce HCM transforming the culture from a paper driven HR Department to a paperless, fully automated setup.
