January 2020 - Present Collective Retreats

People and Culture Manager

As the People and Culture Manager for Collective Retreats, I am responsible for all human resource and talent acquisition tasks, both at the retreat level as well as in our head office. This work ranges from recruitment, on-boarding, and training of new hires, to closely working one-on-one with both the retreat and high level management team members to ensure the company is staying compliant and up-to-date with regards to benefits, payroll, employee relations, recruitment, and more.

June 2018 - Present Sodexo

District Recruitment and People Specialist

October 2018 – June 2018 Recruitment and People Coordinator

As the District Recruitment and People Specialist for Sodexo, I worked with several different accounts to fulfill all their recruitment and human resource needs within their F&B and Marketing departments. This work included sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training for every position from entry level to senior roles. I trained new hires, completed new hire paperwork, and assisted with quarterly evaluations. I was the direct HR liaison for these accounts, and was responsible for staying up to date on all hiring and human resource needs. I was the new hires main point of contact for employee relation disputes and questions regarding all company policies.

November 2015 – May 2018 Intercontinental Hotels Group

HR Generalist and Talent Acquisition Manager

As the HR Generalist for Intercontinental Hotels Group, I was solely responsible for all Human Resource- related tasks and responsibilities. This included creating job specs for all open positions, posting open vacancies and screening CV’s, administering phone and in person interviews, on-boarding new hires, managing employee-employee and employee-management relations, opening and working through discrepancies, and creating and filing paperwork for all pay raises, changes in employment, and terminations.

January 2013 – October 2015 Network Capital

Human Resources Coordinator and Corporate Recruiter

As the Human Resources Coordinator and Corporate Recruiter for Network Capital, I worked directly under the HR Director and Vice President as both the sole Recruiter and HR Representative for our Florida division during its first year as a new branch. Amongst other responsibilities, my main focus’ involved creating and posting openings for employment to the job boards we utilised, high volume recruiting and interviewing for classes of 20 bankers held on a monthly basis, administrating week-long training sessions geared towards educating and training new bankers, on-boarding and termination of all employees within our branch, and all other necessary duties directed through our HR Director. This involved providing support to employees on company policies, keeping track of payroll changes and communicating said changes to the Accounting division, and providing advice to both managers and well as staff on human resource issues and changes. On top of this, I was responsible for communications between agencies, running our social media pages, and attending campus and college-based events to discuss our company and open vacancies within it.

Hobbies and Interests

I am an avid traveler and recently returned from living and working abroad in London, England for 3 years. I enjoy food (both cooking it and trying local cuisine) and spend most of my free time outdoors in the mountains or biking through local parks. I also love volunteer work, and currently volunteer for both One Colorado as well as the Humane Society.
