• Serve as a clinical research coordinator working with principal investigator and sponsor in conducting clinical trials in compliance with study protocol, standard operating procedures and guidelines from regulatory authorities (FDA/ICH, HIPAA, IRB).

• Participate in study initial preparation, administration, study materials development, training sessions, implement of study procedures and recruitment strategies design. In addition to preparing and running the necessary meetings with the study team, monitor and sponsor.

• Interaction with IRB to submit all regulatory documents for review including reporting adverse events.

• Obtain informed consent from subjects, screen and interview subjects to collect data and study sample.

• Responsible for data documentation in case report form and in electronic data capture system (EDC), and maintain the accuracy of source document. Request and review medical records from outside clinics and collect data from the records to complete case report forms. Performing the quality assurance and monitoring of ongoing trials regarding reviewing data consistency in source document with EDC, regulatory binders and quality control of study materials.

• Oversee clinical research team in Central America and Europe. Data management for multi-site studies and performing the Data safety monitoring board meeting.

• Recruitment for subjects from clinics inside the NYU College of Dentistry and outside clinics including NYU Langone Medical Center, NYU Cancer Center, Bellevue Hospital and VA Hospital.

• Translation for Mandarin speaking subjects as needed within clinic

• Train and mentor student volunteers with include Masters and Dental students in study procedures, chart review, QA-QC, recruitment strategies and IRB application.
