Also, managing and treating dementia among nursing home patients along with reviewing patient history, medications, and labs to treat the whole patient.

Alliance Spine and Pain Centers Aug 2018 – Apr 2020 Assessing and treating adult and geriatric patient related to pain complaints and addiction. Pain conditions treated at the practice were sickle cell, cancer, and spinal and joint conditions. Prescribing pain medications to manage pain and prescribing suboxone and buprenorphine to patient with addiction in order to tapering patients off of schedule I and II narcotics. Patients with addiction were also counselled and educated regarding outcomes and benefits of initiating treatment regimen. All patients were offered extended psychotherapy with therapist to manage their psychological health. Administering/offering joint injections and trigger point injections related to pain complaints. Reviewing charts for comorbidities, labs, and medications prior to deciding on a treatment plan. The treatment plan was collaborated with the collaborating physician.
