•Lead the architecting, analysis, testing, modelling for standing up of the IHA Health Edge (HE) customers claims processing system and its many touch points. This application and its performance were business critical for IHA for 2014. The customer was experiencing very rapid growth and without a finely tuned claim processing system the rapid growth would not have been possible.

•Responsibilities were standing up the HE system. The customer had three unsuccessful attempts to stand up the environment. These positions responsibilities were to architect the environments where HE would be used and have the support personnel stand up the environments.

•Responsibilities included optimizing the performance in the HE environments. This included designing and developing automated performance tests from the ground up. In addition, this included setting up complex test scenarios to model production workloads, ability to monitor JVMs, analyze heap dumps, analyze queries and memory profiling, ability to monitor and collect result data, analyze and pinpoint bottlenecks and fixing performance issues.
