Literacy Tutor
RED CEDAR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL East Lansing, MI January 2020 - Present
Provide literacy tutoring for a 1st-grade student 1-hour twice a week; read books, write, and play games to aid in the learning and development of the student.
Analyze reading proficiency tests to select appropriate reading-level books for the student; introduce books above student reading-level to drive learning.
Collaborate with the student to conduct demonstrations of learning through projects such as creating paper books or writing descriptions of pictures.
Youth Soccer Coach
QUICK STRIKE FC, Lagrange, NY June 2018 – August 2019
Coached 4 teams with 15 players once a week teaching individual and team game skills, sportsmanship, fair play, and team unity/spirit.
Conducted passing and shooting drills to increase player accuracy; played dribbling games to practice ball handling.
