Recruited to the US-based security services provider to serve in a dual role of Controller and Director of Special Projects. Oversaw all aspects of general accounting for the $500M company, including inter-company transactions, finances, cash management, financial reporting, and month-end, quarterly, and year-end close. Built a culture of compliance and excellence, implementing Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) control methods, documentation, and also accounting processes necessary to achieve GAAP compliance. Reduced the month-end and quarterly close and reporting cycle by 30% through the successful rollout of SAP company-wide, improving reporting transparency and executive-level decision-making.
